This lower temp fan switch is a must-have if you are getting rid of your fan clutch and plan on just using the auxiliary fan. The stock switch turns the low speed fan relay on at 91° C, and the high speed only comes on when you're at 99°. This switch makes the temperature that activates the relays much lower, helping keep the engine cool from a lower starting point.
Direct replacement to all E30, and 6 cylinder E36 models. Will not work on E36 4 cylinder models.
