About Us

What's in a name? 

Leichtbau, in German, refers to a construction method where lightness is taken into consideration in every single piece of the project, without sacrificing strength or cost. This is our philosophy, not just in the cars that we build, but in the way we run our business. We take the time to come up with the best possible plan that will get you back on the road and enjoying your car in as little time, and at as little cost to you as possible.  

Launched in 2020 by two friends with a passion for motorsports, Leichtbau was created to be a one-stop shop for fellow enthusiasts to have as a backup for when a job is too big, or for when they don't have the time/space/skillset to take on themselves. We know how difficult it can be to trust your prized possession to just anybody, but with our combined 30+ years of experience in the automotive industry, we treat you and your cars as if we were best friends.
